Terms of Service

1. What the Service does

We scan photos and videos you upload for hidden metadata (like GPS location and device info) and, where enabled, visible details that could identify or locate you. We can generate a cleaned copy with unsafe metadata removed, and a uniquely fingerprinted — optionally visibly watermarked — copy for a specific recipient, so a leaked copy can potentially be traced back to who it was made for.

We do not claim perfect anonymity or leak-proof protection. The fingerprint lives in file metadata and can be removed by cropping, screenshotting, re-compressing, or certain image-editing tools. A "no match" result never proves a file wasn't leaked. Use the Service as one layer of caution, not a guarantee.

2. Eligibility and your content

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.
• You must own the content you upload, or have the rights and permission to upload and process it.
• You are solely responsible for the content you upload.
• You may never upload content depicting a minor in any sexual or exploitative context, or any other illegal content. We have zero tolerance for this. We will remove such content immediately, terminate the account without refund, and report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or law enforcement as required by law.
• Do not upload content depicting another identifiable person without that person's consent.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to harass, stalk, defraud, or impersonate anyone.
• Attempt to access another user's account or content, or circumvent rate limits or security controls.
• Use the verification/watermark-lookup feature to try to identify content that isn't yours.
• Automate uploads or account creation beyond ordinary personal use.
• Reverse-engineer or resell access to the Service.

4. Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@deltasquad.net if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Privacy Checks and payment

Access to the Service is metered in "Privacy Checks," purchased in packages at the prices shown on our Pricing page. Checks don't expire and are not a subscription — you're never charged again unless you choose to buy more. Payments are processed by NOWPayments in cryptocurrency; see our Refund Policy for how refunds work.

6. Your content, our license to use it

You retain all ownership rights to the content you upload. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and transform that content solely to provide the Service to you (e.g. to scan it, produce a cleaned copy, or generate a protected copy on your instruction). We do not use your content for any other purpose, and do not claim ownership of it.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, particularly Section 2's content rules, without refund of any remaining balance where the violation involves illegal content. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that it will detect every privacy risk in your content or prevent every leak.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including damages resulting from a leak, misuse, or unauthorized distribution of your content that the Service did not catch or trace. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim arose.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claim arising from content you upload, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third party's rights.

11. Governing law

These Terms are intended to be interpreted under generally recognized principles of contract law. We have not designated a specific country or state's law to govern these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the date at the top of this page when we do; continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept it.
